History[]
A Fairy cursed Sleeping Beauty to get pricked by a spindle and die, but another Fairy countered it by cursing Sleeping Beauty to fall in an ageless sleep when she is pricked. She was laid to rest in a castle on an enchanted bed. She has slept herself to death as her destined lover has persumably perished on the rose thorns.

Jacob and company rest at this castle, whereupon they discover Sleeping Beauty on her bed. Jacob is astonished, since he has been searching for this bed for ages, since the Empress would pay a fortune for it.
